According to initial information, a loud bang was heard during the flight. As a result of it the windshield was broken. The pilot lost control of his aircraft and therefore decided to activate the Magnum rescue system. He then landed with his Ikarus C42 in the treetops. He escaped unharmed.

According to initial speculation, it is likely that the propeller collided with a solid object, and after that the object hit the windshield. The accident will be subject to further investigation.
