Rescue Italy
On February 28, 2025, a Risen Superveloce took off from the Alzate Brianza airport for a technical flight.
Unfortunately, the flight was interrupted by a probable high-speed "bird strike" that seriously damaged the windshield of the aircraft and injured the pilot in the face. Due to the reduced visibility from the injuries to the face, the pilots agreed that the correct decision was to activate the rescue parachute Magnum with which the Risen is equipped. The activation procedure worked as per the manual and the aircraft, as documented by the images, gently landed on the ground, settling on the trees in a hilly area.
